All Of It
| Dark.ness
2. a In behavior, un-integrated darkness: residing in the shadows or hidden from consciousness; dangerous, depraved, violent, deceitful
2. b In behavior, integrated darkness: directness, attractive, commanding, raw, unapologetic, powerful
3. Of primal origin: focused on basic biological human / animal urges
4. Mental darkness: depression or depressive feelings
5. In sexuality: taboo or (assumed) out of the ordinary desires, kinks and fetishes
‘Direct, empathetic and confronting. Sjoerd has the ability to see and show you where you’re stuck.’
Each session consists of an online Zoom call with metitation, practices and invaluable reflections. Afterwards you will receive an email with a short recap of the session and three different types of practices for you to work on (embodiment, shadow work and real life).
What women often struggle with
Many women long for connection on a deeper level.
Not just any connection — but that feeling of coming home. Like being a kitten curled up in a pile of blankets. Or held by unshakably strong arms. Like merging with the universe — or opening at exactly the right moment for a lover who takes you deeper than you ever thought possible. That kind of depth.
Instead, life is often confusing. Frustrating. Maddening.
Because you’re flooded with conflicting messages:
That you’re too much — or not enough.
That you’re dependent — or should be — or too strong and independent.
That you’re jealous — or too open with others.
That you’re too closed or rigid, even though your body knows she needs more time. More proof that he’s safe.
That you’re too much in your masculine. Or too much in your feminine. Whatever that’s supposed to mean.
Pfff.
And then there are your personal struggles:
Not being seen.
Burnout.
A difficult relationship with your emotions — especially anger.
Leaning too heavily on a partner.
Repressed desires, or using sexuality to seek love or connection.
Sexual emptiness. Numbness. Pain or tension around your yoni.
Shrinking yourself.
Always trying to “do it right.”
Chasing validation. Living through the gaze of others.
These patterns often run deep — shaped by your upbringing, your life experiences, and layers of cultural, societal and religious programming.
The good news?
You can change this.
And no — it usually doesn’t require years of therapy.
It starts with learning to feel. Really listening to your body and taking her signals seriously.
And with gaining insight into the deeper dynamics — so you can engage with your (sexual) energy in a nourishing, empowering way.
So: body and mind. Feeling and understanding.
Human struggles
These themes aren’t exclusive to women. Men deal with them too. They’re human challenges.
What does differ is how different groups are affected by them — and how the world responds. That’s why coaching for women looks different than coaching for men.
As a white heterosexual man, I recognize that my perspective is shaped by these aspects of my identity. At the same time, I have extensive experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and identities. I stand beside you with an open mind — to explore what truly works for you.
